Dermal Fillers

“Successful cosmetic treatments are about keeping people guessing: ‘Has she or hasn’t she?’ The only people that should know the answer are your cosmetic practitioner and you.”

Dermal fillers are a popular option at our clinic for adding hydration back to your lips. We aim for a natural, soft look that gives you a refreshed appearance that everyone will notice but only you will know why.

As we age our lips and the skin around our lips start to sag, creating the loose skin above the top lip, often referred to as "smokers/kissing lines" by adding volume back into the lips we can reduce these lines.

We have a team for Aesthetic practitioners and nurses who all specialise in Dermal fillers and work together.

Prices start at £145.

We also offer facial contouring using dermal filler, although we normally recommend trying our radio frequency facial first, if we are targeting loose skin.

We offer no obligation consultations, send us a message and we will book you in for a free 10 minute consultation to discuss a treatment plan perfect for you.

FAQ

What are dermal fillers?

We only use the safest, most effective CE and FDA-approved, naturally biodegradable dermal fillers at Hidden Beauty & Aesthetics.

These are clear hyaluronic acid gels which closely mimic the natural hyaluronic acid in our skin. They are injected just beneath the surface of the skin and are one of the most popular treatments for hydrating and adding volume to lips and cheeks. Hyaluronic acid volumises, softens and hydrates the skin. It also aids collagen and elastin organisation underneath the skin which gives the skin a more youthful texture.

How long do dermal fillers last?

Dermal fillers are not permanent and will break down over time, so further treatment may be required to maintain your natural, understated appearance. Your medical practitioner will give you all the advice you need.

All the dermal fillers used at Hidden Beauty & Aesthetics  are made from hyaluronic acid, a natural component of our body and skin, which breaks down after around 9 to 18 months, we are able to dissolve these types of filler.

Is there any downtime?

Treatment usually takes approximately 30 minutes. Slight bruising and swelling is to be expected but you can resume most of your normal activities right away.

There is no need for allergy testing because the fillers contain hyaluronic acid which naturally occurs in your skin anyway and is used in other medical treatments. If there is a little swelling, you can easily camouflage it with makeup.

We recommend avoiding drinking alcohol 24 hours before and after the treatment to help minimise bruising.
